Hi, I’m Michael Kalish, founder of Freetail Roofing.

So how did I get into roofing?
Well… it all started with my grandfather, who could build just about anything. Growing up, I wanted to emulate his skills and dedication, and he further inspired me to enter the construction industry.
From building alongside him in my youth to starting construction work right out of high school, I realized my natural ability and passion for creating solid structures that stood the test of time.
Transitioning to specialize in roofing in 2011 allowed me to focus on what I truly love – providing secure, high-quality roofs to protect and enhance Austin homes and businesses.
